boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted May 15, 2014 None that I'm aware of unless a 3rd party is doing them. A custom weld but not that big of a deal to do. Any plate that you would reinforce the area would drastically change the height the spindle sits at in relation to the other spindles unless all the spindles get a plate. I suspect cracked deck shells are the result of blades being out of balance. I have repaired a few decks and as a test brazed a couple with bronze to see if my theory is correct.
