Drug home 2 tractors last week on the cheap!

I drug home 2 tractors 2 weeks ago and got a great deal on them both! The first one is a nice Toro WH 312-8 Speed Classic, it ran and mowed last year but the guy didn't want to mess with it no more. He bought a MTD instead! It turns over and has a nice mower deck but came with the wrong seat. He was wanting $100 for it but I offered him $75.00 for it since he claimed it was in rough condition. He thought about it for a few seconds and said yes but hurry up and load it up before he changed his mind. I said I had been watching American Pickers all day and learned a trick or 2 from them guys! We got a laugh out of that and we loaded it up right away and I paid him fast! He said his buddy had an old Jacobsen for sale for $50.00 and it ran and everything. We went and looked at it and the guy started it up and the 12 hp Kohler ran good but had a blown out muffler and no drive belt. It had some parts missing on it but for $50.00 I bought it right then since it ran good. It is a Hydrostat drive too! The front tires are huge but I didn't care and we loaded it up too. Not bad for a Saturday morning haul! Now if I can get in the driveway without the wifey seeing them, it will be an even better day! Hammerhead

my buddy had a couple horses before he brought home his first Jake...

last I knew, I had all his  stuff, and he had collected so many Jakes...

you couldn't get into the back bay of his shop.
