fuel pump

my fuel pump is shot.i have a 1054 with a kohler engine k series not sure what size.i think its a 10hrs..who makes an after market pump.or where can i get a new origanal one.went to napa today they think they can match it but not sure.$80 an thier not sure.any ideas?

Napa should have Kohler replacements. They are plastic now and should cost around $55.00. I have seen them on Amazon.com and eBay for a little as $30.00.

are the fuel pumps for the kohler k series engines the same.cause im not sure what size engine i have due to fact the i.d. plate is unreadable.

They are not all the same. Do you think its the original 10 horse? If so its a K241 engine.

Another option is an electric pump. Napa # 610-1051. About $60. I have one on my C-160

ok i got a new fuel pump.but now im confused.the pump arm when you put into the motor . does it go in does it pointing  up or down.cause if it goes in pointing up its the wroung pump.cause of the are not pointing in the same direction of gas flow
