well, here in n.e. ohio we started cleanig up the mess ike left from the wind last sunday. a pretty good sized limb snapped out of a maple tree in the back yard and came down on the roof of our mobil home behind the house. (vacant) plus other smaller limbs all over the yard. so, to pull it off, i hooked a rope to it then to the hitch on the b-60. when we were ready, my wife asked me, " do you think this can pull that off the roof?" i thought  now this is a gal that has cut grass with this tractor for about 20 years, so i said,"karen, it's a wheelhorse, it can do anything." so i had her get on the b-60 and put it in 1st gear high, and when she started to go at half throttle the sharp end dug in a little. so i stuck a branch under it and lifted a little and away she went. drug it out in the yard where it was an easy cut up with the chainsaw. so, to make sure she never doubts the power of any of our 4 little horses again, i'm sending her out later this morning to finish the cleanup all by herself... the b-60 that is. :D:thumbs::lol: oh by the way, this is her now, :banghead: b-60 :USA: b-60 :omg: b-60. hope this gives you a chuckle, jim.

Yep, seeing is believing.

The guys at work allways question me about how much you can really do with a "lawn mower"? I politely tell em that they are garden tractors and that there is a differance between a garden tractor and a lawn mower. Then I tell em about the cast iron tranny, cast iron front end, the tire size, the angle iron frame, the unstoppable Kohler, and so on and so on. I then have a few pics of my tractors "gettin it done" to back up my claims which allways leads up to the next question........Got any for sale?

Mike...........

Hi,

Right after I got my 1995 312-8, I was mowing too close to the creek. I was not used to the clutch so when I accidently popped the clutch and I proceeded to go down the creek bank. Well it was more like I rolled down into the creek bank.

I was horrified. Here was my brand new machine in the middle of the creek bed. I was thankful that we only had about 6 inches or less water in it.

Anyways I righted my Wheel Horse and said what the heck, lets try to start her. To my surpise she started right up. I then raised the mowing deck and proceeded to drive her in the creek until I found a shallow bank so I could drive her out.

Ive been sold on Wheel Horse ever since.

Terry

WH520

I had a 84 4-14 8 and that thing was a TANK! I have a boat storage and before I got my Farmall, I moved all the boats with the Wheel Horse. There are boats here that are over 9,000 lbs easy and that WH would drag them around pretty darn good. I remember one time I was moving a 24' camper and I had a few buddies over. Well, I had to have one sit on the hood and one stand on the front so it would keep the front end down so I could steer, :omg: I had that tractor for 20 years. Then when the deck was getting beyond repair, I sold it to my neighbor and he still uses it today. But that tractor had me SOLD on WH for what all I put it through so last year I went and got a 97 520 and about 4 months ago got a 518. :banghead: :USA:
