Painting the 1276 soon

Recommended Posts

gonna be starting the tear down process within a couple weeks... I don't have a sand blaster nor do I have a aircompressor big enough to power one or a sprayer. I need suggestions for getting the paint off. could I just rough up the paint so the new paint will stick? any recommendations for a sprayer (OTHER THAN GET A NEW COMPRESSOR)? How about for getting off the paint?

Thanks in advance, Nate

Get some 140 grip sand paper and work with that for a while then use sole 340 grip to smoother it off, yes it will take a while with out a blaster but I did it with my bonnet and wheels.
