1982-1983 Series wiring mistake?

Here is a page from the 1982-83 operator manual. The wiring at the pto switch does not look correct to me. Look at the voltage regulator (+DC), ammeter, pto switch (not complete) and ignition switch (no battery power). 

 

If it is not correct I would like to remove that page so one is not led astray but need confirmation.
