Design for a box scraper?

I have a 76 D-180 and need both a way to level and smooth out my yard and a way to hold the weight plates on the back of the tractor to counter the front end loader. 

Originally I thought to make a simple open sided box of angle iron that could mount on top of the 3 point hitch then I thought perhaps a weight box would be better extended a bit further out the back.

It occurred to me though that I could make a box scraper and add the weight plates to the top front of the box and use it for both purposes.

Anyone have a decent and reasonably simple design for a box scraper?

I have just stripped the paint and rust from the entire tractor and completed repainting and putting it all back together.  I am now working on converting it to a foot pedal for forward/backward control so I can handle the FEL at the same time and I will be ready to start working on the box scraper.  Any existing designs appropriate to this size tractor will give me a huge jump in the time it takes to come up with something and put it into use.
