Rosco234 0 #1 Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) Hello, I have a 1997 314H with a 42 inch mowing deck that has never been run. I inherited this tractor along with the deck and a 44 inch snowthrower attachment. I've been using it for snowblowing duties only but now would like to use the mowing deck this summer. It looks as though the mule drive for this unit is missing. I see a few for sale on ebay. Is there anything to be concerned about when buying one? Are there some that are not interchangeable with my year/model tractor? The mowing deck manual references a dial-a-height adjustment knob when installing the deck. Is this only for non-hydro version? My tractor does not have such a knob. I removed the snow thrower attachment this past weekend. It seemed more complicated than it needed to be. any help is appreciated. They all seem to have little tricks that you will gain over time that make it easier each and every time you go through the motions. As Desko stated above, the mule-drives almost all work...few exceptions such as C-195 and 520 W/60" deck maybe others? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
