leadchucker62 0 #1 Posted April 27, 2014 good day everyone: i'm new to the forum and this is my first post. i have a 1995 520h that i purchased new in 95. i've had very few problems with the tractor since new,and have maintained it quite regularly. it is a model73501 with a ser# of5900112 with the onan 20hp engine. the problem is,upon turning the key to start i get no power to the lightblue wire at the starter. in the wiring schematic i see 2 relays and the starter solinoid. on my machine i have 3(down under the battery) relays and a starter solinoid also when i turn the key to start 2 of those relays click and the third does not.do i assume the 3rd relay is bad? all of my safety switches are intact and good,,i have power through the fuses, and my 9 pin connecter looks good. my battery is in good shape and fully charged. this has been an awesome little tractor with a 60" deck and grader blade,it has done alot of work for me over the years. i'd really like to get it up and going. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks Z

ericj 1,579 #3 Posted April 28, 2014 welcome to red square. it could be your relay or just the connections in the socket for the relay. those relay under the battery are a real pia to get to, to work on. a lot of times battery acid leaks down from the battery and corrodes the terminals for the relays. try to get a test light or meter in to the terminals to see where you are loosing power. good luck eric j
