314-8 blowing fuse

Recommended Posts

Tim

my 314 was stored over the winter.  I started it a couple of times and in late January or so it would not turn over

jumped it with my jump starter and let her run for a while.  no big deal, need a new battery

put a new battery in it and when I turn the key to the start position, I blow the 25 amp fuse

could I have a bad battery? I jumped across the solenoid and the starter turned it over

I keep it stored in a shed not outside so the elements didn't get to it
