htopjimmy26 3 #1 Posted September 17, 2008 Hi all' just looking for some feedback on berco snowblowers, anyone have one? Do you like it? Its impossible to find a clean single stage around here and the 44 in 2 stage is such a heavey monster that i gives me a hernia thinking about hookin it up.[and it smokes pto belts bad] :banghead:
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #2 Posted September 17, 2008 Dana, I don't have one, but I have heard some good things about them. I think they make some attachments for JD, or at least, I heard they did. Bercomac has a good reputation on other forums, but I do think they will costs more than an used Wheel Horse blower. http://www.bercomac.com/index_ang.php
htopjimmy26 3 #3 Posted September 23, 2008 Thanks Treed, I guess I was hoping to kinda compare to the wheelhorse 2 stage. It does look like it is lighter, [the 44in 2 stage weighs like 380lbs?] I think I read somewhere that the berco only weighs like 250. I do really dig the idea of using the same attachment on different brand tractors, does any other manufacturers do this? Are there other snowblower manufacturers that make snowblowers for wheelhorse? :banghead:
Nick 13 #4 Posted September 23, 2008 Didn't Bervac make the first 2 stage blower for Toro Wheel Horse? Actually when I saw berco I thought it was Bervac. :banghead:
htopjimmy26 3 #5 Posted September 23, 2008 Correct me oh great implement gurus but I think ber-vac also made blowers that fit wheelhorse but they are out of business or moved to canada? A dark corner of my memory seems to recall seeing a picture many moons ago mounted to a 416 that looked alot like my wh 44in 2 stage [79361] :USA:
Rideawaysenior 25 #6 Posted September 27, 2008 I believe Berco and Ber-Vac are one in the same.
