How good is your German Koen?

I'd ask the vendor a question like The tractors look like Wheel Horses that have been painted  - what does it say on the ID plate?

Of all the colors on the color chart someone chose green   ....I hope the rims aren't yellow!

Not much info on them..i can understand a little german but only found those two in the picture and one in an auction from last year on Ebay.
Viking 211-5 is the name of the tractor, and they are green..with silver wheels.

I also know that Viking has built many of "their" mowers under license by other brands.
or bought them finished and got them painted in their colors

I've done a little research as well. Seems Viking started in Austria in 1981 by making garden shredders. According to their site in 1984 they began developing their own line of lawn mowers which, based on a photo looks much like a Mountfield push along rotary mower.

They don't mention Toro/Wheel Horse but my guess would be that (like Mountfield in the UK) building LTs from scratch was beyond their ability. Mountfield's solution was to become Wheel Horse distributers, it seems Vikings solution was to buy in parts from Toro / Wheel Horse and assemble them in Austria. Seems they've always had the green and silver colour scheme.
