702 Restorartion Begins

Recommended Posts

catcher77

I picked up this 702 Wheel Horse Tractor last fall and I have decided to restore and keep the tractor. I will be selling the Sickle Mower that came with it. The tear down was done over the winter (did not take to many pictures of this). Began sandblasting and powder coating a couple weeks ago (pictures of this are on the way). I will also post pictures as I reassemble. Hope you enjoy. Donnie

Here are few pictures when I was tearing it down. There are several rough areas. Thanks

Some pictures of the sandblasted items ready for powder coat. Trying to figure out what kind of tires to put on the front and rear. Not to fond of the tires that were on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Did not have much time to spend on the project today, but I did get a couple items powder coated. If everything goes good at work this week I can possibly get the transmission put back together (if I can remember how it goes back together) by Thursday night so I can start the assembly next weekend. Should have new oil seals for the transmission tomorrow. Donnie
