Tiller repair

Well it was 70° yesterday and know it snowing today well I guess its a great time to fix my tiller the chain broke on it yesterday I tried to post pick but won't let me sign in sorry I know you guys love the pictures

You can get replacement chain at tractor supply or alot of different hardware stores pretty cheap but you would have to know what size chain you have, so bring in the old chain with you. You may want to check your sprockets also chances are they are getting bad also.

I went and bought a replacement link but I guess I needed a half link that's probably why it broke it is way to long I could see were it had been rubbing on the housing

Perhaps you should consider replacing the chain if it is worn than much. Chains in that condition start to wear the sprockets.

Good choice!!! I think for @ $20.00 you will be all set, as Gary said you dont want to trash the sprockets it can get expensive if this happens.

The main output shaft is not in the greatest shape were it rides on the bearings but the sprocket looks good the input and secondary shaft look great I have two more tillers but I was wanting to use this one for this summer
