dewdew 10 #1 Posted March 15, 2014 I just rebuilt my carb. Wich was a great success. I didn't know how good this thing could run until now. Surprising considering it was my first time. But.... Dunt dunt daaaaaa... It seems to run at too high of an rpm when the throttle is at full. So is there a laymen way to set the rpm limit?
shorts 182 #2 Posted March 15, 2014 you need to download the engine manual and make sure that you have the throttle cable and linkage hooked up correctly then follow the carb and governor adjustment proceedure
rmaynard 16,549 #3 Posted March 15, 2014 I agree. You probably have the throttle/governor linkage hooked up incorrectly, or the governor is in need of adjustment.
Fordiesel69 271 #4 Posted March 15, 2014 A cheap way is to have a member here make a high res video of theirs, and make yours match it. Mine are hibernating with fogging oil and kero in the carbs so I can't.
