1997 tall Shute c series

Recommended Posts

My Shute only turns one way. It doesn't really bind up but more like it is stripped it turns one way but not the other. The teeth on the Shute don't touch the screw on the turn Handel. I'm thinking that maybe the plastic bushings that the Shute attaches to the blower are worn. But I've never seen new ones so I'm not sure. Is there anything else that I can try or look at?

I don't know why. Opens for me. Go into the RS manuals and do a search for

3318-238

Do the gears stay meshed, if not try adjusting the plate that holds the worm gear before buying stuff.

I did adjust the plate. And it got better but it still only turns about 3/4 of what it should. The Shute does feel kinda sloppy. I can move it by pushing on the top of it. It will lift about 1/8 to 1/4"

sounds like the plastic guides are worn, I hear they are not cheap about $40, but if it fixes it.
