Tankman 3,520 #6 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Local auto parts stores usually have them in stock. I use 7/16-20 x 1-1/2" long bolts, small flat washer under the bolt head and Threadlocker® Blue on the bolt threads that will engage the hub. The small flat washer compensates for irregular surfaces on the hub. Like using lug nuts (7/16-20 open end lug nuts)! Much easier to hang a heavy tire on the Horse. doc724 925 #7 Posted February 23, 2014 I think I read somewhere where on RS that the bolts should be 1.5 inches long. Tankman also agreed. I have not verified this, but my experience is that at some length the bolts will not be threaded the full length. They have to be threaded full length or you will not bottom the bolt head on the back of the hub flange. Getting the lug nuts may be a bit more challenging. I found them on ebay for $13 for 20. I need to go to one of the big tire stores here in the east to see if maybe they can sell lugs nuts for less (they must buy them in bulk), however, 7/16-20 is kind of obsolete now, was mainstream for GM in the 80's. wheelhorsebo 20 #9 Posted February 23, 2014 I know what u are saying but I am adding calls to mine and the way it works is u have to install wheel then adaptor then lug nuts after coming thru the back of hub with bolts. The longest ones I could get was 1 3/4 I need 1/4 more thread on bolts so it will use all the lug thread. That is shall wheels Duall wheels
squonk 42,720 #10 Posted February 23, 2014 I got my longer bolts (2") from McMaster-Carr for my C-145. I have 23x10.50 ag's on it and after putting chains on the chains hit the gas tank. So I had to use wheel spacers and then needed the longer bolts.

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,270 #12 Posted February 23, 2014 Leaf spring center bolts come in 7/16-20 and are a reasonable source for studs. They usually have a lot of thread so make quite a few. A bit of the good Locktite and they are good to go. Garry
N3PUY 1,031 #13 Posted February 28, 2014 For rear wheel studs this is what I used ... $8 for 10 nuts and bolts.
