dewdew 10 #1 Posted February 19, 2014 I'm havering trouble finding a hydro pump for my 76 d160. Is there anything else that I can do to get this thing moving? It runs great but the p.o. Broke the pump shaft so now I just keep pushing it around I would like to do a full restore on it in witch case rebuild the pump but circumstances are forcing me to use this as my worker this summer. What can I do?
Hodge71 665 #2 Posted February 19, 2014 I would seriously consider sending Kelly on here a PM. He is fantastic to deal with and has good stuff. I have purchased many pumps and Hydro motors from him. He is trustworthy and will give you a great price. I tried ebay and ended up buying 2 pumps and a motor that I used to make 1 good pump. If Kelly can't help you out try Joes Outdoor Power. He also sells on ebay and if you tell him that you're a member on here he will usually give us a discount even if its only 5 bucks.
ericj 1,579 #3 Posted February 20, 2014 with some rework you can use a c series sunstrand pump. i did it for a D160 1 time or should i say a friend did it for me, but it worked eric j
coldone 35 #4 Posted February 20, 2014 The C series pump and motor just need to be seperated. Once seperated they will bolt up to the D series hydro manifold.
