arrkerr 54 #1 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) EDIT: This is now clearly for a vertical shaft tractor, maybe a B-111 or an A? Can anyone identify what it is, I can't find a single photo of a blower for a vertical shaft with this sub-frame assembly on a wheel horse. It could be a nice fab job, but it looks legit WH. Thanks varosd for the response, this clearly won't fit my 'C' Edited February 10, 2014 by arrkerr
varosd 1,185 #2 Posted February 10, 2014 Welcome to Red Square!!! While I'm not sure what model that thrower is for (other folks will chime in who know) that would not fit your rig. Of course, other folks have modified different throwers so it dependeds on your fabrication skills, etc but much easier just to find one that fits w/o all the modification fuss. look for a newer model from the 90's as they have the much sought after "tall chute" and worm gear chute direction instead of the cable. Yes, on a snowthrower model that fits your tractor will just hook up to the front attachmatic hitch and a long round rod with a triangle piece of metal (flag) that slids into the rod. this flag is attached up into your lift system. arrkerr 54 #3 Posted February 10, 2014 On closer inspetion this blower has the belt pully in the middle right behind the chute, and that long frame piece has a pully halfway down. This can't possibly fit a side pto, so I have to conclue that it is either for one of the later briggs models or was fabircated to fit something else. Not for me I guess. Still, if anyone recognizes this is a genuine wheel horse hookup my curiosity is killing me .
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,495 #4 Posted February 10, 2014 Looks similar to this one for the 200-Series tractors or They don't show the complete long frame. Garry
arrkerr 54 #5 Posted February 10, 2014 Garry, I think you're right! It looks very similar to the one in this thread: Thanks!
