gehosky c-125 2 #1 Posted February 5, 2014 Hello everyone need some help here i currently have a C-125 8 speed. Great tractor love it. When i bought it the motor was smoking so i bought a spare motor to have incase something happened. Well something happened and i replaced my 12 hp Kohler with a 16 hp Kohler. the question i have is when i did motor swap the 16 bolted to frame got everything hooked up and tractor running great. i had to purchase a l bracket for the PTO hoop to sit in but now my PTO hoop that came of my 12 is too short to go on my 16 hp are there different sizes for different motors and set ups Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SousaKerry 503 #2 Posted February 5, 2014 Short answer yes there are different hoops and brackets. I have even seen different ones used during the same years. I would have to assume that your engine is a shaker plate mounted engine? if so you need brackets from the same style engine, and the C-175 is totally different. Some pictures would help. The only tractors with shaker plate engines are the C-1X5 and later C1x1 series tractors where x = horse power. But the 8 Hp and 17 Hp are different. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
