DOC in Kentucky 178 #5 Posted September 8, 2008  Hydraulics to raise a sleeve hitch? Now thats definitely overkill Someone definitely has too much time on their hands. But hey, to each, his own, as they say. :omg:
linen beige 14 #6 Posted September 8, 2008 Hydraulics to raise a sleeve hitch? Now thats definitely overkill Someone definitely has too much time on their hands. But hey, to each, his own, as they say. That's the HY-3 hydro lift that Wheel Horse offered as an option. It lifts the rear hitch and the mid lift. I have the earlier HY-2 hydro lift on my 702 and can't tell you just how great it works with the dozer blade. I have used mine for hours at a time, and it sure is better on my back when I don't have to reach forward to pull a lift handle, and it gives down pressure to make starting a hole much easier. The up/down control is right there at my fingertips.
Docwheelhorse 2,561 #7 Posted September 8, 2008 He bought that tractor locally to me for $550... it wasn't in bad shape. Then he bitched and moaned about all the "little" issues to the guy he bought it from. Now just because his magic hands have worked oin it it has gone up $2000 I won;t deal with the guy... he is a genuine PITA Tony
Brrly1 1,146 #8 Posted September 8, 2008 10-4 Tony I have read more threads about this guy than I can remember. He does occasionally come up with some nice stuff but I think this is a little steep. I also have the hy-2 kit on my 854 and it sure is a nice little option to have. Although the tractor does look nice but not that nice!!! T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #13 Posted September 9, 2008 I just noticed this thread. Guys please read this: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=4901 Let's abide by the rules, okay. I'm closing this thread (even though I agree with everyone 100% on the price). It sounds like you guys are onto him. But, rules are rules. At least, other members can read this and be forewarned. :banghead:
