Ok to answer a few questions and comments. I love them all guys keep them coming it helps fuel the need to work on it.

I planed on stainless head bolts, but yes accorn would look good, the flathead style is what I'm going for, kinda a 32roadster look with out the cost  .

I never thought of wiring the lights like that but making them not grounded to the mount will be hard, I thought about getting diff. bulbs, if that don't work a resistor will.

I wanted to make the mount for the lights follow the hood lines and the upswept look of the axle, I need to make stops for the axle so it don't pivot up and take out a light.

As for the blower shroud on the head, I'm leaving it off, to show off the head.

I don't think it will over heat, because it will not be worked like normal, just to drive around shows.

As for the fenders I tossed the idea around, about putting motorcycle fenders on it, the old chrome ones, but decided not to, it will be fenderless.

I'm thinking about building my front wheels, More on that later

Kelly; Thinking about the scoop, it would add too much height to the front and spoil the lines wouldn't it. I think the resistor in line with the tailights is the way to go. if you drop them down to 5 or 5 1/2 volts the bulbs will be a tad dimmer but will last forever. On the wheels, I think she' screaming for some "Moons" and a set of Wheel horse logo hubcaps would fit the bill. Keep up the great work.

I have a bigger pulley but that will mess up the stock belt guard, and stock belt size, and I don't want to cut up the 1055 guard it's my only spare.

man these post move fast anymore .

thats looking sweet. :D . lights, and your spindles are :WRS:

for speed dont you put a smaller pulley and the trans and a larger one on the engine  .

i know that raider 10 i had flew and that had about a 3" pulley on the rear.

Kelly, How's the little beast comin' along?

I spotted some 4.80x4x8 tires with 2 1/4 inch whitewalls over on the Coker tire site that would make her look awful "1950s". But they are NOT cheap! They're made for the Cushman scooters.

Mini update on the tractor, picked up a pair of 24x12x12's and mounted them on 8.5 rims off a parts 520 I have, I had 10.5's on it, I like the big tires  one pic is with the 10.5" on one side and the 12" on the other. I'll get pic's of them both mounted up.

It's been a while, been busy with other stuff, so this got put on the back burner,Here is were I'm at, The motor is a fresh 16HP kohler still yet to start it, I'm going to tear the tractor apart again and repaint it this winter, I hope :USA: it was blasted and spray bombed to get a idea of the final look, I need to change, a few things, the motor needs to move forward 1/4" I mocked it up with a 10hp from a 1055 then built the 16hp and put the tin from a 1067 on it with the S/G (thanks Perry for the tin and brackets) but then I found out the tin and flywheel are smaller on the 1055 motor's :banghead: so I had to off set the motor to the left of the tractor so the bearing plate and flywheel could hang off the frame, I used the 1055 oil pan, I learned alot that night about all the, diff. pieces on the 1055/1045/1075 motors, this is mostly WH parts but does have rupp mini bike front wheels, and a cub steering wheel, and the motor was orig. a cub motor, the rear center caps are from a semi, they are the center caps from the wheels, they don't fit too bad :omg: and the muffler is a Harley pipe, not yet hooked up, and I need one new rear tire as you can see one is shot. anyway here it is
