C-81 fuel line routing help

Recommended Posts

Fun Engineer

I have a c-81 that the previous owner changed the fuel delivery system on. So it's not original. I removed the previously installed system and I'm ready to run the new fuel line but I'm not sure how to route it correctly. It appears that it is routed next to the shift lever but not sure what space in the dash tower it should go through. The color catalog I have shows a pic of the engine but I don't see the fuel line. I'm assuming it runs under the crankcase and between the frame. Not sure where it runs between the dash tower, lift, steering and engine. Would someone either post some pictures from the point of the tank valve to the fuel pump? Or can someone describe the routing. I only want to make one cut in this long piece of fuel line. Thanks

Thanks Terry. That got me started for sure. Now as I look at the color catalog better it appears that the fuel line may be routed between the cylinder head and flywheel shroud.  Hopefully someone else will know for sure.

EXCELLENT Terry. Thanks. Just as I thought, right through the shroud.

That's a nice looking original tractor. You don't find them in that kind of shape around Michigan.
