Well I always had a problem of loosing stuff off my tractor, from hitch pins, wrenches, gloves & cell phone , so today I found an old butt pack to help the situation

Thats a good way to go when you have to carry small stuff Chasm. I've often thought what would be a good kind of tool box to bolt to a Wheel Horse but I can't bring myself to drill any holes in the sheet metal.

On my C-121 dad bolted s 6x9

Breadpan right next to the motor.

I think the battery used to be

There on some models. It doesn't

Have a lid, but have not lost any

Pins, bolts, etc.

Always thought Wheel Horse should have never given up the tool box. On are big farm tractors I would be lost without them. It's almost UnAmerican to be without a tool box on a tractor. I have often thought about bolting one on somewhere. We have got a lot of talented fabricator members on here maybe they will come up with some great Idea.

I'm thinkin',  those hermetically sealed lids on military ammo boxes would make the perfect candidate for add on tool boxes. 

I just need to come up with a mount that won't require drilling holes into my  sheet metal...then paint to match.

I hear ya Craig, I feel the same way about drilling holes.       The only thing I seen that I liked was the seat covers with the pouch on the back

This started back during leaf season as I needed a place to store the tools for the Cyclone Rake. HF recently released plastic ammo boxes which are smaller than a 12" tool box. Originally it was just the box but then grew into flashing lights and a backup light. The nice thing is that I didn't drill any holes into the tractor. It is about 80% finished as I still need to wire it completely, touch up, etc. I use 1" x 1/8" aluminum angle.

I keep my tow strap/hook, gloves, and a spare beer under the hood of my 657 right behind the dash.  The beer never gets a chance to warm up when im cutting, a little shaken up but thats about it haha. When i swapped the original seat and toolbox out for the old style pan seat i lost my storage soooo i kinda had to make due. Original seat/fender and storage box/seat mount is up for sale if anyone is close to pittsburgh area!

Hey could be worse my 67 Ranger has a tool box hath you can't get into without scraping all the skin off the back of your hand...Terrible design I need to fab up a hinge and frame for that.

I found an old emergency kit at the flea market. Works well although somewhat small.
