Dieselcowboy 210 #1 Posted January 8, 2014 Will the 520-8 rear lift cable fit over onto a 96'H ? I searched parts tree hard but could not find the # on the H. Found the tube for the 8. Any insight will be great.

TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #3 Posted January 8, 2014 The cable is the same. The difference is in the clevis where the cable attaches to the lift lever shaft arm. Hydro models need a longer clevis because the "dogleg" tube shortens the effective length of the cable. The tube is normally already installed from the factory and stays with the tractor. Dieselcowboy 210 #4 Posted January 9, 2014 Cool deal fellas. I have the loader on the 8 and will never use the manual lift. The hydro is the chore tractor. Hoped to swap them around. Will the cable come through the tube? Or does the whole tube have to be changed? By what you've already said it sounds like the tube will stay and cable can be removed in 1 part. TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted January 9, 2014 As long as no critters have called the tube home, the cable will push through.
