Graeme 7 #1 Posted January 7, 2014 I bought this nice clean 78 blower model number 86-42st01 and one of the rollers that the chute spins on is long gone and has been replaced with a couple washers. I can tell you, the washers don't have the same effect as the rollers. They tend to bind. I looked up the part and it is part number 1973, which as far as I can tell has been discontinued. Has anyone found a suitable replacement for this part? I understand the thing to do is to upgrade the chute to the newer style with the gear driven chute rotator, but as it is I have enough into this machine and need for it to pay me back for little bit before I invest more into it.
