snookman1 1 #1 Posted January 7, 2014 Well i got the nerve to stop by and ask the owner about this tractor i saw a while back. he said it was out back so we went to llok at it and found out it was a C-161 8speed. asked him if he was interested in selling, he said he was thinking of putting the 16hp in his sears gt18 as its tecumseh engine was giving him problems. he then said he would sell it forreplacement money for another engine. i asked what kind of replacement money we were talking about and he came back with "i think i can replace the motor for 75 to 100 dollars." gotta get my money but told him he'll see me this week FOR SURE with a 100 bucks. once i pick it up i'll post some picks. The wifes not real happy as i already have a 74 B80, 61 551 and my parents picked up what i believe is a 60 550 for my son in the garage. i told her to get her christmas stuff put up so i could get the new tractor in. you can never have enough red. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
