Racinbob 11,931 #1 Posted December 31, 2013 With the topic of American made products and Kohler engine differences in mind I was just messing around on the internet this morning. I learned a lot about Kohlers and naturally many of the links I went to were other forums. I would browse the forums just to see what they were like. Without going into detail let me just say that we all should be thankful this forum is run the way it is. Not that there aren't other well run forums out there but a couple of them had me laughing at what was allowed and the rudeness. I was into one of my searches about 20 pages and came across this picture. The posting was dated in 2004. He posted a suggestion that they start a 'newbie' section and require X number of posts before they could get on the 'real' forum so they would quit cluttering up things with their 'stupid' questions. I came close to registering just so I could put my two cents worth in. It probably would have landed on deaf ears though. Ummmmmm.....can that happen on a computer? Oh well, you get the drift.
