n1defan 47 #27 Posted December 22, 2013 Yeh I have to admit that is one down fall with the gear drive wheel horse lawn mowers to fast in third and to slow in second! Desko 624 #28 Posted January 2, 2014 I mow in high 1st with my work horse at my aunts because its all hill then I mow ours and my grandmas with a John Deere 455 diesel hydro and I prefer the horse over it but you can't compare a 42" to a 60" all hill though Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
