70sVintageTrikes 19 #1 Posted December 16, 2013 Picked a Kohler k181s today for next to nothing. Its a electric start model but missing starter. Doesn't even have a recoil starter for backup... Has external coil and no tank on motor. Numbers are~ Model # K181S Spec # 30670d Serial # 9198381 ? (Last numbers are hard to read on sticker) What can you guys tell me about it? TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #4 Posted December 16, 2013 That spec number is listed as being built for "Bidwell" (Bid-Well) and the engine was probably used on a bridge roller paver. 70sVintageTrikes 19 #5 Posted December 16, 2013 Well I was bored today and went to my buddies dads house to nose around. I buy all kinds of stuff from him due to him being a "scrapper". He hoards the good stuff that people say to junk.
