SCOOBY 312-h 14 #1 Posted December 14, 2013 grrrr my 1990 312-h decided to rear its anger toward me and give me a no start condition. checked the grounds, checked the interlock system. have the wiring diagram and the demistification guide along side me but i cant seem to locate this problem. when i turn the ign sw to start all of the interlock lights go out and the low oil light flashes. with the ig sw to the run position the low oil light is off. im assuming that means the switch is bad cause my oil level is fine. i rechecked all of my grounds and petty stuff. if i turn on the ig sw and jump the solenoid it runs fine. im thinkin that one of the wires is shorted, loose or isnt connecting to the interlock system properly. or the oil sensor is bad in wich case i will cut the wires and eliminate it since its nla from toro. if any of the professionals have any light on this topic it would help me greatly. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,393 #2 Posted December 14, 2013 The low oil switch may be no longer available from Toro but bet it is from Kohler. They supplied it in the first place. You can service the switch using these instructions. Sounds like the oil light is working properly and also the switch. Garry
