Looks great! Hope you have weights and maybe chains for it. Getting traction with a blower hangin off the front can be tough.

Looks to be in outstanding condition and well taken care of by the PO.  I really like the older maroon decals with no TORO on them.  You snagged a good one.  Not sure if that is the original seat but if it is they are still available new.  That blower should work OK but you may want to keep your eye out for a newer tall shoot single stage or even the monster two stage.  Also, if you can find it just use pure gas with no ethanol.

Ty Jack. Yes sir seat needs replacement. Original one it is. I am in the garage with my buffer. Lol. Mufflers needs paint. Frankly I was looking at a 2 stage blower. This one is heavy enough. Manually. Next tractor. Bigger motor. Hydraulics for lifting. THEN big bad as 2 stage blower. For now I am content. Enough to keep me busy through spring. If you see a seat tip me off. That tractor supply one doesn't look bad.

Does the seat have 1 drain hole or 2?

See eBay auction 130757995032 for a 2 drain hole seat.

You will need to check the bolt pattern to see if it will bolt onto the springs.

You can also search for "tractor seat" on eBay.

Craig. Didn't I see a pic where you stripped the padding off your tractor seat and painted the wheel horse logo on the pan? If that was you it looked super.

Im glad you got the tractor. If I wasn't so busy this time of year that tractor would have been in my garage. I am curious how well the single stage blower works.Tractor looks great.

I would not get too over excited about a two stage. I have both a single high chute and a 2 stage. The 2 stage works great if you got a lot of power and snow up to your waste. The bad side is they are heavy, and pain in the butt to store and move around. Taking them on and off the tractor is not near as easy as a single stage. Plus way more moving parts which equals more maintains and chance for break down and cost. Most of the parts have to come from Toro and who knows how long that will last. The single stage parts can come from outside sources. Now I know there are some on here that will disagree with me. Then there is O'l Duke he and his chucker are in a total classification all to there own and too hard to describe without seeing it in action so I won't even attempt it. I have only used my 2 stage for about 30min in the last 4 years. I mainly use my blade because the snows here come off the lake and are wet and heavy. Unless you are constantly buried by 3 to 4 ft of snow I would think that single will do just fine.

Very nice looking setup there Glenn. I'm in the short chute group too. They are calling for a good amount of snow this weekend here. It will be the first time I've been able to test it out , but I'm confident it'll do just fine. The videos I've seen of them working show that.

Looks like you found some very well preserved equipment. Single Kohlers are by far the most dependable motors that were used on WHs. And the 8 speeds are pretty much bomb proof. With that combo you should be good for many years of use with minimal maintenance.

I also own a tall single stage blower and a dual stage. You just can't beat the singles. My dual serves its purpose in deep snow but I prefer the single hands down!

Best of luck with it

I bought a two stage for my 520-HC a few years ago. The thing is so heavy I think that is the part that turns me off most about it. The last time I moved it. I used a farm tractor with a Bucket....
