Replacement mower blades?

Recommended Posts

Still being relatively new to the forums, could someone direct me to the correct replacement blades for my 68 Commando?  I need a pair.

Thanks

Aaron

32" width of cut?

Shaft driven spindles?

Takes a left and right blade because they turn in opposite directions.

Toro 2-blade set part number 8777.

16" blades with 5/8in.x3/4in. double-D hole.

Mower deck may be model 5-2321

Hi, thanks and yes I have the original 32 inch cut rear discharging deck.  Did a quick search ...whew those sets are expensive, but I guess I can swing that.

Okay been off awhile, and now that it's warming up here, I see now that my mower deck stamp states Mod # 5-2362, does this change the blade requirement mentioned above?  Sure do seem hard to find those!

Thanks

Aaron

According to blade chart that's a 36" mower and uses blade kit 8014 (for 62-69 decks 36" cut). The deck shows for a 69 model yr deck. If I have any I'll PM ya, (check morning) :handgestures-fingerscrossed: most are the 3 blade sets as I remember (for newer models 36, edited 03/22)

All my double D's are shorter, my mistake!

Here is the 5-2362 parts list

The 8014 blade set has 2 blades. These blades rotate in opposite directions so the cutting edges are on opposite sides and Toro is the only replacement supplier.

Guess I should qualify that saying that a group of the newer models have the 3 blade set, 1 long, 2 short. All the counter rotating blade/decks I've seen in 32 and 36 have 2
