C-Series14 15 #3 Posted September 1, 2008 Thanks...got a 1984 C-145 Auto and a 1979 C-161 Twin 8-Speed in the barn in need of finishing. Made the mistake of hauling the freshly restored C-161 Twin on my open trailer one bad winter and the road salt did a number on the poor thing. It needs torn down and redone. C-145 has another engine on it (red) and needs put back together. I just don't have the energy like some of you guys! :banghead:
Teddy da Bear 11 #4 Posted September 1, 2008 I think it is all in your perspective. You do a great job of restoration. I made a plexiglass light cover for my GT-14. First one shattered upon drilling some holes. Second one I spent about 4 hours on.....had it painted, lights mounted and was on the last screw to mount it on the grill.....it shattered then too! I cannot seem to restore anything......

C-Series14 15 #7 Posted September 1, 2008 Thanks all. Hey, Joel, they got washed cause I got them all out and parked them next to the neighbors fence to try to entice him to mow! Pat, I am not a real big fan of the black hoods but I got 4 of them so something ain't right...
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #8 Posted September 2, 2008 Mike, Fantastic looking tractors you have. I also appreciate you putting these in the gallery; we are getting a good sampling of tractors, covering different models, different eras, different looks. On the black hoods, they have grown on me quite a bit. :banghead:
