KC9KAS 4,744 #1 Posted December 7, 2013 I'm pretty sure that the snow plow I have on my GT-14 is not the correct plow. The plow frame hits the bottom of the front axle and the tie-rods, making it difficult to steer. Anyone have a photo of the correct plow....more specific, the plow frame, as the blade isn't the problem. I'm not sure a part number will help, as none of my plows have ID tags any more. Maybe you can see what I have in this photo.

Brrly1 1,146 #4 Posted December 8, 2013 Your A frame might be too short. I'll get you the length of Dads tractor A frame this afternoon. Your out pushin snow when I have only seen flurries. Darn it! I want some snow to play in
KC9KAS 4,744 #5 Posted December 8, 2013 BurIy.... I have the plow attaching in front of and under the rear axle...I also have the 3pt lift, so the plow bracket is on the front side of the 3pt hitch bracket. The blade is 54" wide and plenty of clearance between the front wheels & blade.
oldredrider 2,553 #6 Posted December 8, 2013 The "lift height" on mine is adjusted by the lock nut on the trunion rod that goes from the rock shaft to the blade mount. Hope this helps.
ThreeHorses 20 #7 Posted December 8, 2013 I have both a GT14 plow and 300/400 series plows. Some possibilities: Plow without numbers on it I got with 1 GT14 had a couple angle brackets bolted to the top of the A-frame. They lowered the A-frameabout 1-1/2" or is essence raised the rod that attaches to the axle bracket. This would lower the A-frame and give you slightly more clearance under the front axle. The other GT14 I had with a GT14 plow wasn't like this. Just had to adjust the link/chain on the lift so it wouldn't raise and hit the front axle. Do you have the wheelhorse 3 point hitch plow bracket? It may mount the A-frame slightly lower than the other brackets. I attached some pictures I had of GT14 with plow mounted. Really don't think it's the plow or A-frame.
