need help identifying plow parts

Recommended Posts

I'm in the middle of restoring my 64 854 I was in the basement finding parts and came across this angle arm for the plow I don't know if its for this tractor but the hand grip is different than the one on the plow. The plow is off a 67 or 68 wheel horse I believe the plow is the same as the 854 is it?

Just looking at it and the pivot point hole and without having measurements, I would say it fits C-series and up plows/tractors. You would need to measure the length, and the space between the pivot bolt hole to the bottom hole where the angle adjuster connects to be sure. Early handles were straight. Newer ones came with an angle away from the tractor to protect the tractor metal. (Especially the belt guard).

This one is straight.I didnt say but the tractor was my dads uncles he gave it to him years ago along with the 68. he gave us the plow for the 68 he dident have the plow for the 64. He never owned a c-series but I'll measure it too be sure. Is the plow and frame the same for a 64 and a 68 because the plow dose mount on the tractor.

the 64 & 68 are not the same. the 64 will be a short frame plow. the 68 could be a long frame or short frame. even if its a short frame its not exactly the same but will inter change. If you stand the plow up with blade down the short frame is around 5 foot & long frame 6 foot
