Teddy da Bear 11 #2 Posted August 30, 2008 Wow! A GT-14 in England!!! That has to be a pretty rare tractor there. GT14 gives you the clue to horsepower.....it is 14 horsepower. The thing is that condition is everything when figuring a price. If it runs.....does it smoke? ..are the hydraulics strong?......no leaks?.....not mutilated.... I would pay say........$500 to $850 here..... And I know I would pay a bit more there. I would go for it even if it meant paying $900.....more if it has accessories. Just keep in mind...if it did not come with accessories....there is no way your going to find them over there. The accessories are very specific to that tractor. I have adapted a front blade on mine. But as I understand it....mower deck.....rototiller.....snowblower.. etc...are made only for that tractor. Let us know what happens.

Stigian 1,234 #4 Posted August 31, 2008 By and chance is it this GT14 Marshman? GT14 ebay link This one has been on ebay a few times now, kinda expensive for my taste but a nice WH :banghead:
Teddy da Bear 11 #5 Posted August 31, 2008 If it is the one.......I would say it has had a hard life and that wiring is a mess. A cracked tank can be repaired....but likely not replaced. That was special to the GT-14 also. Depends on how bad it is. If that tractor on ebay were here.... I would give no more than $200.

Teddy da Bear 11 #7 Posted August 31, 2008 Well....it has no accessories. It would just be a tractor for the rest of it's life. You might be able to put a front blade on it....or pull a trailer. But that is about it. You have to ask yourself what will you use it for. Or just to collect?
Stigian 1,234 #8 Posted September 1, 2008 You have to ask yourself what will you use it for. Or just to collect? Good point Mike... If i were to buy it, i guess i would use it for trailer work and maybe built a front loader on it at some point. Always wanted a front loader Out of interest, the seller does put a lot of WH's up on fleabay, but his prices do seem a bit high..
