Killer 2000 Chevy 83 #1 Posted November 19, 2013 I have a 1054A and I am starting restoration. I would like to find some replacement tires for the rear. I want to find ags to replace the passenger car radials on it currently. I would even settle for turf tires if they were priced right. Any help with some links or someone may have some in good shape I would be very appreciative.
pacer 3,177 #2 Posted November 19, 2013 I put these on my 1054 a few months ago, theyre bigger than original - course you cant find origs - but I think they look pretty bad a##. They are the 7.6/-15 - there is about 1 1/2" on the front of fender and about an inch at the top. http://stopandgotires.com/model.asp?model=Traction%20Implement%20I-
"D"- Man 827 #3 Posted November 19, 2013 The original rear ag tires were B.F. Goodrich Power Grip 6.40 x 15, but they are very hard to find used in good shape let alone a pair of N.O.S. I happened to find one (not a pair) on Ebay awhile back that was never mounted and still had the metal serial # I.D. tag, needless to say it's not for sale. Mark. P.S. Nice looking 1054A you have. Chevydave 25 #4 Posted November 20, 2013 I don't know your tire size, but when you do get it I recommend finding a small local tire store to place your order. I looked all over on line and got all kind of prices (Carlisle Turf Masters 4 Ply). I went to a small tire place around the corner (I live in farm country) and got a way better deal along with getting them mounted.

Killer 2000 Chevy 83 #10 Posted November 23, 2013 No worry's everyone, I have found a set of used 15" ags in good shape and I can't wait to get them on there. I'll post pics when I do. Hopefully I'll have the correct seat on when I post the next pictures too.
Digger 66 3,488 #11 Posted November 23, 2013 Hopefully I'll have the correct seat on when I post the next pictures too. I'm not even sure what the " correct " seat would look like on my steed . The one I have on there is off an old boat , but it's comfy as heck & I may disassemble it & have the blue / white covered in black by a bud who does upholstery . Lookin' forward to your pics ....
