Dieselcowboy 210 #1 Posted November 17, 2013 I have a wheel horse generator that I have used on my B-80. It works it to death so I though we have new toys this year with real hp so lets use them. Tried to install this gen on a 96' 520 with no luck. It fits in the quick tach but sets on the ground. It also seems like the tractor axle / tie rods are just plain in the way. On the B-80 it fits perfectly and plenty far off the ground. What am I doing wrong?
varosd 1,185 #2 Posted November 17, 2013 probably the 520's swept axle and steering reduction setup is in the way compared to the B-80?!? any pictures? bet other folks will ring in!

boovuc 1,090 #4 Posted November 18, 2013 Hope you guys are all safe when all is said and done. I would think that even if you did get that generator on your 520, that Onan will drink your gasoline supplies down in a very VERY short amount of time. I hope you didn't need to use it on the B80 or 520 but the B80 will run it much more economically.
