sorry but i have another blower mounting ?

okay maybe i'm having a case of stupid and I've seen detailed pics of the flag tube assembly and all the underpinning etc, but on my 73 12-8 I have this bracket that has a hinge on it now is that where it mounts and your flag tube from there keep it snugged up or is there a bar with a pin that goes through some where? if there is any detailed pics of this would like to see front mount how it s hitched together please?

yeah I've seen all those but its where the attatchment itself where it hooks on the tractor mount theres like hinge hook up assembly on the tractor and i'm not sure what you call it there's a pin roller I think that slides on and there locks I guess? according to the manual I have

I guess what i'm trying to figure out is how you lock the front hitch on your attatchment, have been rereading my manual, anyone with front hitch pics on locking the attatchments?

OK the front attach-a-matic right? Did your tractor have a deck? The mule drive for the deck clips in the same way as the blower. The cross bar on the blower gets lifted into the two grooves/slots and under the attach-a-matic is a small lever that you push back towards the tractor to lock it in.

Hopefully your attach-a-matic hasn't had any parts taken off it by a previous owner.

yes it had a deck and the mule drives are on it  which will have to come off anyways from what i'm seeing, I guess being accustom to craftsman(yuck) you just think its automaticly complicated LOL! now I know how it works now thank you.
