Almost ready to blow some snow!

Recommended Posts

Switching over to a 312-H for blowing duty this winter. I have some lights to hook up and install the Bervac suitcase weights on the back.

Picked up this cab and tall chute blower for a song and can't wait to try this new setup.

Looks great Scott! I ran a cab for a few years back when I had a tractor mounted blower and it made a HUGE difference.

You say its an "H" tractor and not an "A" tractor so I assume you'll have hydraulic lift?

Yes you are correct Mike! I am getting lazy and am tired of manually lifting.

I have another blower tractor in the barn right now. Has a cab and a short chute blower and is all mounted on a 312-8. Selling that cab and blower to a friend. Will put a blade out front and take it over to grandmas house. Shhhhhh.....don't tell her it is not just for plowing her drive, but to also free up some storage space. :)

Have a C-85 with blade already over at my place ready to go. Might get the 702 with HY pump ready to plow as well.

Just finishing up the 522XI for dad. Swapping out the 48" blade and will be putting on a 54" blade.

So needless to say......we will be ready for anything!

great setup scott. i would like a tall chute blower one day for the 416. but for right now i will make do with a blade as i have the walk behind ariens 24" blower for blowing with.....

just don't seem to get that much snow the last couple of years since i started getting all this stuff to make snow removal easier than shoveling...... :confusion-scratchheadblue:

Isn't that the truth Martin! I scored a really good deal on the blower and cab......I didn't even wear a mask when I picked it up!

They saay you might be getting about 6 inches over from LaPorte east. Lake effect snow they say. You might get some seat time tomorrow.

I'm kinda in the same shoes as you now - new to me tractor with a cab and blower, plus I added a plow, and I'm ready to play in the snow. They are calling for snow here tonight and tomorrow - maybe 8 inches total.

I took of the deck and put on the plow after work today. Maybe I'll get to try it out tomorrow. I told my wife - don't shovel that snow - leave it for me!

Well no seat time yet for me.  Just a dusting here in Warsaw, IN.  Over to the north and west they got hammered with a bunch of lake effect snow.  Pretty heavy from what I am gathering.

Looking forward to getting the snow removal team into action.

Plus the kids are dying to get the new snowmobile out for a spin.  :)

I had just enough at work that I had to shovel for a couple hours.

Nothing at home to plow though. Bummer. :handgestures-thumbdown:
