jmdavidh09 33 #1 Posted November 7, 2013 I bought this 416H for the Recycler deck it had as well as some other parts it had...but of course, one thing led to another and well, here are the befores: I did lots of cleaning, some repairs and then another member here (KEN520HC) painted it up for me....Ken did a wonderful job at a great price/horse tradin'. VinylGuy provided a 50th anniversary 416H decal kit.... And here is an after: AGAIN... THANK YOU KEN520HC for the awesome paint job and THANK YOU VinylGuy for the sweet decal kit!!! And, here is one more after...I even painted up a nice hood ornament from an extra hub cap 'Horse! AMC RULES 37,117 #3 Posted November 7, 2013 Nice lookin' ... where'd you find those rubber mats on your foot rests?
Martin 2,131 #4 Posted November 7, 2013 craig, they are standard on the 96 and up 416. getting a set for mine as i like them a whole bunch more. i think the metal part of the footrest is slightly different shape so i think I'm going to need to get some of them as well. the rubber parts are on there way from parts tree so we will see...... i will report back in my 416 adventures thread....... jmdavidh09 33 #5 Posted November 7, 2013 Martin is correct...the 96 and newer footrests are a little wider at the top near the fender pan...the rubber is factory for a 96 and newer. The clips that hold rubber down are still available new...not sure about rubber though. I like these a lot more than the older glue down ones. Watch ebay...the rubber and metal footrests pop up from time to time!
