Need some smaller wheels, what size?

Have a D-series with the bigger front tires. Think they are 18 x 8.50 x 8 now and very flat tread surface. I like the looks of the standard 18 x 6.50 x 8 tires. Think my present rims are 7" wide or close, hard to measure mounted. How wide is needed for the 6.50 tires? I'm thinking a 4-3/4 or 5" width to be right?  Think the bearings are still stock 1-3/8 OD size, would have to check for sure. SO, I need a pair of wheels to fit smaller tires.  Anyone have some to sell? I would consider tires only if in good shape. They are heavy to ship. Think I would like to buy tires locally really and be new. IF I should find these wheels will have  the wider ones then for sale or might trade if an interest. I can demount the tires or leave them on. Can send pix if needed. Fix me up, here!

My tractor turns fairly hard and has very large turning radius which makes it hard to maneuver in small spots. Is this normal or something wrong with my system? I have greased all the linkage, can't get into the column gear yet to try to grease it. I'm hoping maybe the smaller front tires will help in the effort here.

Take a look at 5.70x8 trailer tires they are 18" tall and 5.7" width. To help with steering get 6 ply tires. I put 16x6.50x8 6 ply trailer tires on my C-120 it's like power steering compared to the old 2 ply tires.
