Is lamp wire ok For the C160 Wireing?

OK, Not come on people use the right stuff. Since the starter is messed up and the solenoid is fried I might as well fix the wiring as well. The PO used aftermarket stuff and it works it just isnt pretty. Can I use the rectifier off my 73 4speed to fix this? or would you keep the parts taht are on it?

Its not a hugh mess but its not to my liking either. Guess ill fix her up.

I'm in the same boat with my C160. The PO did a whole bunch of shabby wiring. It works but it is not up to the caliber that I want.

Looks like rewire is needed. I get my wire from NAPA as they have the correct colors and gauges that were originaly used.

I wont go as far as matching colors to the original setup but ip will look good and be dependable.
