Charlie Smith 142 #1 Posted October 28, 2013 Hello All, I have recently purchased a cart to tow behind a wheel horse tractor, I'm in the middle of restoring the cart, tyres, rims spraying the body and new decals, however when it's restored I want to take it to the shows along with my tractor over here in the UK. I have been thinking it would be nice if I could put on a nice little display in the cart, so instead of showing the tractor and am empty cart, My thought at the moment would be empty some straw on the floor of the cart fill a few hessian sacks with potatoes have an old wicker basket with a few potatoes in lay a pair of dirty gloves over the Handel of the basket, then lay out a chequered cloth with an old drinks bottel an apple, bread roll, and an old pit of pickle then an old vintage radio, so it would look like there has been somone working in the fields picking potatoes now they have stopped for lunch, That's one idea however I wanted to know if any of you have some other ideas? So I could put on a few different displays throughout the year.,

boovuc 1,090 #6 Posted October 28, 2013 Fill it with old or copied advertisements of Wheelhorse/Toro and their product lines over the years. Manuals, sales brochures, vintage pictures, etc. (With a bigger sign that says "Please do not touch"!)
Wheel-N-It 2,976 #7 Posted October 29, 2013 I like your idea Charlie, especially including an old radio. Or you may want to have some flowers that would be set out in a flower garden, and some old/vintage flower gardening tools.
