Marv 848 #20 Posted October 29, 2013 I love it. Looks like they did in the showroom. A shop so clean and organized, how did you ever get anything done? I have some you can come and do for me. I even provide food. Marvin
TJ 171 #21 Posted October 29, 2013 Thanks for all of the compliments on the tractor, garage and shed. The tractor is a 1984 and was in pretty bad shape when I got it. The "Before" pictures were taken after a couple of hours of cleaning. I bought it to use as a working tractor, so I made no attempt to restore it to original. In fact I changed a number of things to make it easier to work with. For paint, I used Rustoleum Pewter Gray. My garage is my work shop but in the winter I park my car in there at night. I may have overdone the outlets. I built the shed from a kit from Home Depot two years ago.

Fun Engineer 859 #24 Posted October 30, 2013 (edited) nice tractor and nice shop too….. what color did you use for the gray? alfor the 1983 so what year is yours? i have the first year metallic paint on my GT1848. would like to restore it one day once i find the paint match that I'm happy with. Martin The metallic number I have is, 1971 Lincoln-Mercury Pewter Metallic. The paint I had on my 1983, 1848 was not metallic and the number is 1971 Lincoln Light Pewter. PS I used an automotive urethane and it gave me a great finish. Dave Edited October 30, 2013 by Fun Engineer
