curlytarter 0 #1 Posted October 26, 2013 I have an older Wheelhorse serial number 62-25737 in sort of rough condition that I will probably part out since I will not send anything to scrap since there may be people who are in need of parts from this mower..This mower has numerous good parts on it. It has a 6hp K141 kohler pull start engine. Engine turns freely when pulled. I would like some help as to actual model identification of this mower. Any help will be appreciated. curlytarter 0 #3 Posted October 27, 2013 Thank You for your reply. I did a search and find several mowers that have same characteristics as the one I have but still differences making me believe that was not my model.
boovuc 1,090 #4 Posted October 27, 2013 I couldn't find a match for that S/N number you gave. What about an engine manufacturer and model, HP of the motor, horizontal shaft or vertical? Four speed or 8 speed or hydro? Maybe a marking from the transmission. Dash layout? Many of the members here can start to zero in on it and of course.........a picture is worth a thousand words! CasualObserver 3,411 #5 Posted October 27, 2013 Sounds like a possible 633. Do some searches on that model number and let us know. Via Tapatalk
posifour11 723 #6 Posted October 27, 2013 This is the serial # from a 63 lawn ranger I had. What size are the tire/ wheels on yours?
octfst 378 #7 Posted October 27, 2013 Sounds like a possible 633. Do some searches on that model number and let us know. Via Tapatalk 4 I agree. Looks like a round hood # & the only round hood I know of with the K141.
curlytarter 0 #8 Posted October 27, 2013 Guys I appreciate the info from all. I uploaded some photos on gallery---55 to 64 photo pages and you will find on page 5 with no tags. They will be easily found due to lightness of photos toward bottom of page. After you have reviewed them I will remove due to no tags or info I do not have. Again Thank You. curlytarter
curlytarter 0 #9 Posted October 27, 2013 Sorry I forgot to mention it has 12 inch rears and 8 inch fronts.
CasualObserver 3,411 #10 Posted October 28, 2013 I'd be very comfortable calling that a 633. Has the right pieces... even the toolbox in the battery tray. (a factory item found only on the 502 and 633) Wish you were closer, that's one of the models I still want to find.
curlytarter 0 #11 Posted October 28, 2013 Thanks Super is good to see more than 1 agrees on a model. I did a research on the internet and reviewed several photos and info from the net and came to same conclusion. I had thought about parting it out but find due to the rarity of it if I may decide to rebuild. Is pretty solid other than deck which is no problem I have several lying around but my problem is having time to rebuild as should be. Thanks again to all .
