Need info on #857 snow blade

Could someone put up a pic of what a snow blade for an 857 Horse would look like please. Thank you to anyone that can give me an assist here.

Here is a picture of mine on my 857.  It is off the horse at the moment, so I can take some pics of the plow by itself if you want.

 

 

The 857 is a short frame, I think all "A" frame plows from say...1960 would work.  What exactly are you looking for??

WOW! That was fast, thank you. I am getting ready to buy a model 857 from a friend. I have what looks to be a fairly old WH snow blade and mount. However, my mount is only about 24-36 inches in length total and I was hoping to see what the correct mount for an 857 would look like. I cannot get to my model number on the blade without digging through a ton of stuff standing between me and it so I have no numbers on hand to help figure this out right now.

It sounds to me like you have one of these...

 

 

If you have the flag part of the blade, you can probably adapt that set up to work on your 857...same length frame and the holes are there for the front mount.  Much nicer to have the right blade.    That shorter blade set up you have is really for the RJ's and Rangers.

Not quite the same. Mine is perhaps a foot or a bit more longer and it does have a handle that stands vertical when mounted. Mine does look like it has a round rod that crosses and pins it to the frame mid way.

I just stepped out to the shed and took another look. I have the blade itself laying on it's face and the mount is standing up. Counting the blade, mount and everything the overall height is at least 36" or possibly a few inches more in total height.

This is what I have. I am going to try to adapt this to fit my 857. I found these pictures here. Here was the title that accompanied the pictures. 1969 6-7121 42" dozer blade

I have not seen one like that.  Looks like a bar goes across those uprights and then it would go into the front attach-a-matic???  Pretty cool...let us know how it works for you.  Thanks for the pictures.

I have spoken to a local guy that is a heck of a fabricator. I am going to take the tractor and the blade to him to fabricate a new mount for my 857. I have seen a number of things he has worked on and he always does a great job. Like as not I will spend more for the blade mount than I paid for the tractor before it is said and done. Really I see little choice, it isn't like I can just buy the correct mount reasonably anywhere within 100 miles so if I want to use it to push snow this winter it is about the only option I see for making that happen.

I guess I am not following you. I am going to take him the entire setup just like you see in the picture but he is going to have to alter it to fit my 857

Buck....I have sold about 6 snow blade to you guys in KS...I'm about 100 miles from ya......bet I can find another one that will fit you WH!!...do you have a bracket on the rear axle?...pm me if you wish......42" snow blade and frame goes for about 150 bucks if in good shape...the rear axle bracket is what is in "short supply"

 

Note to self...get 54" snow blade mounted on the ole short frame WH and "be ready"
