RMCIII 838 #306 Posted August 16, 2014 I am sure this is going to get some BOOO's, but with the way the temps have been, this is just around the corner...... Thought I would give the thread a little life. Seems like it was a hit with some 10,000 views. So, there should be some new machines this year with some snow removal equipment hagging off the front. I know Mike will be itching to try out his "xi" with the single stage. John has the "dxi". John, do you plan on using it this winter? Craig has the loader. Craig any plans for it? Duke has already added some more mods to the snow chucker. Can't wait to see it in action...... 1 last item...... There should be an emoticon for "WE WANT VIDEOS". SO post videos also!!!!!! squonk 40,912 #309 Posted August 16, 2014 I sold Marvin in the spring. He's been replace by a RJ-59 that I don't think would work too well with a Tall Shoot blower!

JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,497 #312 Posted August 16, 2014 I have a new idea for this year's snow battle. But I need to get something fabricated to make it work. Desko 603 #313 Posted August 16, 2014 Your going to combine the two blowers together and make a 84" blower if those are 42" blowers (I don't know)
Sparky-(Admin) 21,253 #314 Posted August 16, 2014 You might want to add a second motor in there somewhere Glen! Mike........

RMCIII 838 #319 Posted August 16, 2014 Mike - Pull that off and you will be haild the SNOWBLOWER KING!!!!!! That would be awesome........ Would make some of those homemade 2 to1's look like child's play..... Rob Hey John, you could combine your 2 into 1 also. Have a swivel seat in the middle, blower on the front and blade on the rear! With a rotating seat in the middle. That would be equally impressive! Rob

papaglide 542 #321 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) I plan on using my trusty 416/20 with a 48" blade. I would LOVE to use the 522xi IF I can find a blade for it. ....oh yeah, and rear brackets also! Edited August 20, 2014 by papaglide
squonk 40,912 #322 Posted August 20, 2014 I get to use a shovel at work. I'd love to get my hands on a cheap short frame tractor and plow and leave it there. i 'd fill the tires and chain it up. 8 hrs. on a tractor beats 4 hrs. of shoveling!
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,497 #323 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) Mike. Don't you have the hrs backwards. 8 vs 4. Or do you want to ride more. Glenn Edited August 21, 2014 by JERSEYHAWG / Glenn
squonk 40,912 #324 Posted August 21, 2014 I'll ride all day on a tractor. After 4 hrs. with a shovel my shoulder and knee are shot
