520H Transmission Hydro Filter Leak

I am experiencing some 'weeping' of oil around the hydro filter on the 520H.

 

Recently changed fluid and filter... then the filter a second time (oil up the filter seal prior etc.) assuming that it may have been over tightened or not quite right..

 

Normal mowing session is around 3.5 - 4.0+ hours..

 

Tranny fluid level dip stick is top of the mark...

 

Could I have over filled it a little?

 

(genuine Toro hydro filters used..)

Make sure the bolts that hold the rear lift cable clamp on are tight. The bolt holes go right into the sump and as the oil warms and expands it can wick up the bolt threads and may travel over to where the filter is.
